It started with a simple evening habit - dim lights, a single candle, and a window full of trees outlined against a purple dusk sky.
The Purple Oak Co. grew from that moment. We wanted candles that didn’t just smell nice, but felt like something: the calm at the end of the day, the warmth of a familiar room, the grounded feeling of being exactly where you’re meant to be.
The oak stands for roots, steadiness, and time. Purple carries creativity, softness, and a quiet kind of magic. Together, they shape everything we make - from the color palette to the way each fragrance is built.
Every scent begins with a small story: fresh citrus in a sunlit kitchen, a plate of warm cookies on a winter afternoon, gardenia petals opening next to a window, marshmallows softening over low heat. We pour those images into wax and fragrance, so that when you light a candle, the room doesn’t just smell different - it feels different.
We keep our collection intentionally small. Three core forms. Six signature fragrances. Seasonal sculpted wax details that change with the months. That focus lets us test, refine, and make sure each candle burns beautifully and belongs in the kind of home that collects memories slowly.
